MOOC Committee of the Regions
The Committee of the Regions had to talk to 7,000 people in Europe simultaneously - their own users. The question of how to do that without booking all the hotel rooms in Brussels and creating enough carbon emissions through flights to have to replant a quarter of the Amazon was answered with a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
We understood that their users were motivated enough to follow a course online and that if the course was engaging enough, they would dedicate 2 to 3 hours per week to hone their skills.
With our client, we conceived and produced the entire course, which was the first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) created by one of the European institutions, and was available online for 12 months.
- Strategic analysis
- Brainstorming sessions
- Conception and production of 27 videos in 9 modules
- Conception and production of 9 infographics and quizzes
- Evaluation of participation and recommendations
With more than 16% of the 7,000 users following the course until the end, we engaged 3 times more people than the industry average of MOOCs.
The ever increasing need to understand things will continue to bring new MOOCs to the market, and we are proud to have worked at the forefront of the field and to have directly helped inform people.
